So, hello and a very belated happy new year! XD
It has been a year since I've blogged (late 2014-2015), and since then I've been through quite a few obstacles.
First, I just want to say, IT'S A NEW YEAR AND I WANT A FRESH START!
Second, I really really REALLY miss blogging.
If you didn't know already, when I stopped blogging, it was due to me being lazy and then moving to booktube. But I have to admit, although booktube was extremely fun, and the community was amazing, it just wasn't for me at the moment. This is mainly because of the fact that booktube takes a tremendous amount of time, and between juggling filming, editing to actually reading and studying, I have to say, it is exhausting.
So due to that, I decided that booktube just wasn't for me during this time, especially with final exams coming up in the middle of this year. However, I just didn't want to stop both booktube and blogging because I love sharing my love for books, so I thought, why not come back to blogging? Great idea! Right?
So I came back, wrote a few reviews, pre-posts and things like that, and everything was going well. But then the stupid me had to go and accidentally ruin everything by deleting every image and pictures I've uploaded on posts. Now that caused a massive amount of stress from my side haha.
I am currently solving that problem by manually uploading back every photo to every posts, and I'm about 1/4 way through. No worries though! I hope to get that finished by the end of the week :D But right now, however, my older posts may be looking like an empty canvas :D
Now putting that aside, I just want to say, I want to come back anew, with a fresh start and everything. Through my 6 months break from both booktube and blogging, I realised that I couldn't go on without sharing my love for all of the books I've read. I did go into a really big book slump in between those months, but once I came back into it again, I realised that I also wanted to come back to blogging. I miss my blogger friends, I miss all of the blog tours/blitz that I sign up to, and most of all, I miss having a personal blog to write my about my love for books.
So here we are!
Since this is a new year, I want to come back all fresh and new.
And I hope you will stick by me and read all of my book ramblings!
